The Rwenzori mountains are the most technical mountain in East Africa yet they have a 99% summit rate even for first time climbers.

  • Unlike the Climb to Kilimanjaro & Mount Kenya, you will be required to use technical climbing equipment when climbing Rwenzori Mountains like crampons, ropes, harness, ice axe, carabinas, ice screws, gaiters, trekking poles, Ascenders (Jumars), helmets, and we always supply them at an extra cost of 25$$ per person.
