Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Safari Landcruiser You will be picked up and welcomed by Primate Safari Experiences Safari guide who will brief you about the safari as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. The park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda and it is known for protecting almost half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Enjoy an enroute lunch during the transfer as you fancy your eyes with the amazing roadside features. Arrive at the park in the evening and check in at the lodge of your booking for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: First Gorilla Trek, Afternoon Community Walk

Great Apes of Africa Have breakfast at the lodge and drive to the park headquarters (with packed lunch/snacks and water) for a briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts during the gorilla trekking experience. The encounter involves hiking through the thick vegetation in search of the apes in their habitat and once found, you will be allowed to spend a full hour with them as you are photographing, video recording, and observing them.

Later, drive back to the lodge for late Lunch. In the evening, if interested, you may go for a cultural walk to nearby communities, where you will be entertained by the Batwa Community, and learn more about their unique history. Dinner and overnight at your lodge on DAY 1.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trek

This is another day for the Second gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi National Park where you will be located a different gorilla family to grant you unique gorilla watching experience within the Jungle. Return to the lodge and relax in the evening as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive back to Entebbe

After your breakfast, you will set off for your return journey to Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or overnight in the hotel of your choice.
