In Southwestern Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable national park is a park situated along the Democratic Republic of Congo border next to the Virunga national park on the edge of the Albertine rift. The park composes of 321 square kilometers of both montane and lowland forest that provide a habitat for about 120 mammal species, 350 bird species, 310 butterflies and many endangered species including half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas.
The park inhabits about 500 mountain gorillas in 23 gorilla groups that are divided into 4 gorilla sectors – Nkuringo, Ruhijja, Rushaga and Buhoma. Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kidepo valley national park
Upon the arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will meet your guide who will shortly brief you about the safari. After, you will start the drive to Kidepo valley national park in Northern part of Uganda. The park is known for the hosting a number of wildlife species including lions, leopards, zebras, Uganda kobs, several bird species and many others. Also, you will visit the hot springs of Kanangorok. During the transfer, enjoy the beautiful roadside views of different features like rolling valleys and hills, plantations and many others. Day 2: Game drive and Hot springs visit
Wake up for your breakfast at the lodge and embark on your journey to the open savanna plains of the park for game viewing experience. The drive exposes you to numerous wildlife including the lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, topis, waterbucks, warthogs, buffalos, and many others. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the tree shed and then proceed to Kanangorok hot springs located along the international borderline of South Sudan. Day 3: Game drive and cultural experience
After your early breakfast, you will meet your driver for your transfer to the park plains for a morning game viewing experience where you will spot the early hunters – lions, leopards, hyenas and others. Also, see other animals like warthogs, Uganda kobs, topis and others. Later drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an afternoon cultural experience.
The cultural experiences at the park take place in two cultural communities that is the Karamojong community which shares its boundaries with the park and the Ik group of people who live on the top of mountain Morungole found in the park. During the encounter, you will be entertained by the locals through music dance and drama as you learn more about their lifestyles. After, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Murchison falls national park and hike to the top of the falls
Wake up for your breakfast at the lodge and meet your guide for your transfer to Murchison falls national park where you will enter with an en route game drive in the northern sector. The park is known for hosting the world’s most powerful waterfalls that squeeze in the 7 meters gap and form the thunderous sounds. Day 5: Morning game drive and boat cruise
Wake up for your breakfast at the lodge and go for an early morning game drive in the open plains of the park. You will encounter different wildlife during the game drive and among these include the early hunters like lions, leopards, hyenas and many others. Other animals to see include the grazing animals like elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, bush bucks and others.
After, drive back to the lodge for your lunch and later go for an afternoon boat cruise on Victoria Nile. Day 6: Nature walk in Budongo forest

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk
Wake up for your tasty breakfast at the lodge and prepare for your transfer to the park headquarters for the your pre trek experience. You will be told the dos and don’ts during the trek and later be led by led by the park ranger to the forests in search of the apes. Once seen, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence as you learn more about their daily lifestyles.
Later after the trek, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and then go for a nature walk at Bigodi wetland where you will spot several bird species. Later, walk back to the lodge for diner and overnight.
Day 9: Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park and game drive
Wake up for your breakfast at the lodge and proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park in the south western part of Uganda. Day 10: Morning game drive and boat cruise

Day 14: Gorilla trekking experience
Wake up for your early breakfast at the lodge and drive to the park headquarters for registration and briefing about the gorilla trekking experience. After, you will proceed to the park rain forests in search of the apes and once found, you will be allowed to spend a full hour in their presence as you enjoy their lifestyles like playing, feeding, breast feeding and others.

Day 15: Proceed to Lake Mburo National park

Day 16: Morning nature walk and night game drive
Wake up for your early morning nature walk through the open plains of the park. By the lead of the game ranger, you will pass through the vegetation of the park as you spot different animals like zebras, giraffes and many others at a closer distance. Later after the walk, move back to the lodge for your late breakfast as you wait for your lunch. Have a relaxed afternoon at the lodge and later go for a night game drive with an opportunity of spotting nocturnal animals like leopards, bats, and many others. Later at around 10:00pm, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 17: Cycling and relaxation at the lodge
Have your breakfast at the lodge and drive to the nearby communities where you will hire the bicycles for cycling experience. After the adventurous experience, embark on your journey back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Day 18: Drive to Jinja
Wake up for your tasty breakfast at the lodge and later check out for your 5 hours drive to Jinja, the home of adventures. Located in the Eastern region of Uganda, Jinja is known for hosting several adventurous attractions including the source of the River Nile – the longest river on the African continent. Arrive in the city in the evening, check in at the lodge of your booking for dinner and overnight.
Day 19: White water rafting and visit the source of the Nile
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast and go for briefing about white water rafting. After you will embark on the adventure taking you through different rapids on River Nile. From the experience, you will for lunch and then go for walk to the source of the Nile. In the evening, after enjoying the moment and taking beautiful pics, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 20: Drive back to Entebbe for an overnight
After the late breakfast at the lodge, check out of the lodge for your transfer to Entebbe for an overnight. You will have some stop overs like at Mabira Forest for Zip lining and forest walk. After, proceed with the drive and have an en route lunch. Arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight in the late evening.
