Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale forest national park

On this day, you will be picked up by your guide/driver for your transfer to Kibale forest national park, home of primates. You will have some stopovers like at the equator for photography and breakfast.

Have an enroute lunch in Fort portal and visit the crater lakes on the way to the park. Arrive in the evening and check in at the lodge of your choice for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee habituation experience

Wake up for your early morning breakfast drive to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for registration and briefing the dos and don’ts of the experience. After, you will be assigned to the game ranger who will lead you to the park rainforests in search of the apes and once found, you will be allowed to spend four in their presence. Enjoy their daily lifestyles like playing, feeding, and others as you take their pictures and videos for memorization.

Day 3: Rwenzori nature walk

This one-day nature walk lets visitors enjoy walks, traversing the lower slopes of the mountains up to Lake Muhoma, Ascending from Nyakalengija along Mahoma trail walking through the rain forests along the Kyambogho ride where Mahoma offers you an opportunity to have a scenic view of the Mubuku valley and the Rwenzori Mountains.

This one-day Rwenzori trek will take you through montane forest with thick trees with a variety of primates and various bird species which include the forest elephant, hyrax, black-and-white colobus, L’Hoest’s monkeys, duiker, three-horned chameleons and Rwenzori turaco.

Mountains of the MoonThe mountains are well-known for their unique alpine flora which includes many species endemic to the Albertine Rift in the higher altitude zones including giant heather, groundsels, lobelias and this vegetation make the property exceptionally scenic and beautiful.

Later you will descend the mountain and arrive at the starting point in the afternoon hours, meet the driver for your transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day 4: Full day game drive

Wake up for your early breakfast at the lodge and meet your driver for a full day game drive in Kasenyi where you will spot a number of wildlife species like lions, elephants, hyenas, leopards, buffalos, and many others. In the noon, drive back to the lodge for lunch and later proceed for an evening game drive. After, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Boat cruise and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park with an enroute game drive in Isasha

Have your breakfast at the lodge and drive to Kazinga channel for a morning boat cruise. During the cruise, watch a number of aquatic lives like crocodiles, hippos, and several bird species. Later, drive back to the lodge for lunch and then check out with an enroute game drive through Isasha sector to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking experience

Wake up for your early breakfast at the lodge and drive to the park headquarters for registration and briefing about the gorilla trekking experience. After, you will proceed to the park rainforests in search of the apes and once found, you will be allowed to spend a full hour in their presence as you enjoy their lifestyles like playing, feeding, breast feeding and others.

Day 7: Morning community visit and drive back to Entebbe International airport for your departure flight

Lake Bunyonyi is surrounded by different tribes including Bakiga and Batwa, so after your breakfast, you will have a community walk visiting the locals as you enjoy their daily lifestyles. You will be entertained in different ways like through dances, songs and others.

Later, have your early lunch and meet your driver for your transfer back to Entebbe international airport for your departure flight. You will have an enroute lunch and enjoy the city as you wait for a late flight.
